If there's anyone local interested in building a shared pottery studio, I have land, a gas kiln, a kick wheel and an electric kick wheel that needs some work, and an electric bisque kiln that needs rewiring. What I don't have is a roof, walls, etc., or the finances to make it happen. If anyone has extra money and/or wants to help with labor, I would be happy to share a studio.
I am participating in a wood firing this week. It's a quick-firing bourry-box kiln with a second chamber for salting. It's a small kiln and a group firing, so I hope to have a few nice new pots next week.
We had a good turnout for the reception of the 3rd Annual Table and Tableware show. The food and art were both well appreciated.
